2022: A consortium has been created in Moscow to develop new medical devices and drugs

The purpose of creating a consortium is to form a base for the introduction of competitive materials and technologies in the field of biomedicine. This will eliminate the gap between the possibilities of modern medical materials and the needs of a person to improve the quality of life and improve the level of health, the press service noted.
Within the framework of the national project "Science and Universities," universities, research institutes, innovative enterprises and startups have united in the consortium "Health Engineering." Its participants will be engaged in the creation of new medical devices, medicines and means of their delivery, as well as the development of modern methods of diagnosis and treatment of serious diseases. The association will be headed by academician, vice president of the Russian Academy of Sciences Vladimir Chekhonin.
As the rector of the National Research Technological University (NUST) "MISIS" Alevtina Chernikova noted, the formation of consortia of universities, scientific organizations, enterprises of the real sector of the economy is the basic principle of the implementation of the program "Priority 2030." The concentration of intellectual capital and material and technical resources within each consortium will allow Russian universities to carry out large-scale interdisciplinary projects.[1]
