History
2025: Rostelecom bought a stake in TargetAI
On March 12, 2025, it became known that Rostelecom acquired a 5 percent stake in Target Plus LLC, the developer of a service for monitoring employee activities and robotizing telephone service. There is no information on the value of the transaction as of the specified date.
The share of 5% in the Target Plus structure was received by the IIDI Invest organization, a joint company of ASI (69%) and Rostelecom (31%). The transaction was carried out through an increase in the authorized capital. Other owners of Target Plus include several individuals, including the founders of the company (about 68%), FTV 3 LLC (15%) and a subsidiary VimpelCom of Haiv LLC (13%).
Target Plus (Skolkovo resident), operating under the Cashee brand, was founded in 2018 in Arkhangelsk. It is engaged in the implementation of technically complex projects in the field of artificial intelligence, in particular, it creates means of automating the control of the work of employees of retail enterprises based on speech analytics. For this platform, the company has developed unique language and acoustic models. The hardware of the system includes a microphone that is installed on the cash register and records the employee's work shift. Audio recordings are sent to the server, where they are divided into fragments in accordance with information about checks passed through the cashier. The dialogs are then translated into text and mapped to the service standard. Reports to managers on compliance/non-compliance with service standards are generated at the output.
In addition, Target Plus has developed a robotization system for the first line of the telephone support service: the bot replaces the live operator. Those created within the platform robots for incoming and outgoing calls communicate with the interlocutor, collect and record the necessary data, while interacting with third-party information systems.[1]
