The Metacommerce company is known that it developed the Metacommerce platform intended for price analysis using technology of comparison of unstructured data. In 2016 the project received investments for the amount 60 million rubles from the Internet Initiatives Development Fund (IIDF).

Products

MetacommerceSaaS platform for monitoring of the range and the prices which collects and processes data on more than 150 million goods in day (data for 2020) and gives clients up-to-date, complete and reliable information about a situation in the market. Metacommerce carries out monitoring both on the Internet, and in retail outlets — supermarkets and hypermarkets — across all Russia and beyond its limits.

History

2020: An exit to international market with start of the affiliate program

The Metacommerce command announced start of the affiliate program since September 1, 2020. The program is directed to promotion of Metacommerce service in the Russian and foreign markets that is especially relevant in the conditions of rapid growth of Internet trade, constantly growing demand and the high competition.

The transparent remuneration system is guaranteed to partners of the company: from 5 to 25% of transaction amount during the entire period of use of the Metacommerce platform for recommendations and direct sales respectively.

System integrators, the digital-agencies and developers of solutions for online trade and also individuals to whose clients the modern product on monitoring and the analysis of the range and the prices can be useful can become partners.

2019: Participation in the program of development of a product of the technology companies in Skolkovo

In September, 2019 the Metacommerce company participated in the acceleration program organized IIDF and Skolkovo. Plan development of technology improvement of a product for 2020 became a result.

The Metakommers Offline company received the status of the resident of the innovation center "Skolkovo".

2017: Resident Skolkovo

In March, 2017 the Metakhaus company received resident status Skolkovo and was a part of an IT cluster of the innovation center. The company is going to develop the platform as the complete solution for competitive market research which on an equal basis with monitoring of the change in price will allow to monitor changes of the range of competitors and a market covering. In September, 2016 it became known that the Internet Initiatives Development Fund (IIDF) invests 60 million rubles in the Metacommerce platform on the basis of Big Data.

"The world market of monitoring systems of competitors is estimated at $7 billion. The e-commerce market in Russia already reached volume more than 650 billion rubles, and a segment of services and solutions for monitoring of competitors, by our calculations, in the next years will reach 1.5 — 2 billion rubles. Metacommerce has all necessary to occupy on it a significant share" — Sergey Negodyaev managing a portfolio of IIDF is convinced.

Demand for solutions of this class proceeds first of all from the most competitive and developed e-commerce market segments — electronic engineers, children's goods and also fast-growing segments — clothes, DIY and goods for construction and repair. According to the research RSR Pricing Benchmark, 30% of online stores in the USA already use similar solutions, and 31% plan implementation of similar solutions in the near future to remain in the market. In general foreign markets actively use also dynamic pricing: the largest online stores of the USA, such as Amazon, Best Buy, Home Depot, implemented similar solutions for a long time. In Russia the most part of online stores still or is not engaged in active monitoring of the prices of competitors, or uses manual work of employees or service of outsourcers.

Daily analysis solution Metacommerce of the prices of 50 million goods

The solution developed by Metacommerce with mentor and investment support of the Internet entrepreneur Igor Ashmanov daily "removes" and analyzes the prices from more than 50 million goods, information on which is located on thousands of network resources from more than 80 regions of Russia. Thanks to Metacommerce analytics clients of a startup optimize pricing, have an opportunity to manage quickly the range and marketing. Collecting and data analysis is performed in the automated mode: data on key commodity categories are updated with any frequency necessary for clients. The platform works according to the SaaS model: clients pay service on the basis of a monthly subscription. Such companies as Mediamarkt, Braun, EKSMO, Eldorado, Komus, Tehnosila, the Ship already use the solution of the project.

Target Metacommerce client segment — online stores and offline shops with presence at Network which needs up-to-date information about the range and price level of competitors. Besides, it and producers of goods which need to trace what prices of their products are set in retail by final sellers and as their products it is provided in retail concerning competitors.
