2024: Attraction of IIDF ₽100 mln investments

The Internet Initiatives Development Fund (IIDF) increased its stake in Financier to 12.75% after investing ₽100 million in the form of a convertible loan. Representatives of the fund announced the completion of the transaction on October 24, 2024.

According to RB.RU, Ilya Korolev, portfolio manager of the Internet Initiatives Development Fund, noted that before the current round, the fund's investments amounted to ₽2,5 million with a share of 3.06%. The service shows annual double growth, and annual regular income is approaching ₽130 million. The share of the Internet Initiatives Development Fund in Financier was changed on October 16, 2024.

IIDF invested ₽100 million in the Financier management accounting and business analytics service

Founded in 2016, Financier provides cash flow management and automated management reporting tools with 1C integration. The founder and CEO of the company is Stanislav Kutuzov, who previously headed the Russian division of General Motors.

Among the customers of the service are large international brands:, Ulysse Nardin, and Nissan. Renault Birkenstock The largest shareholders of the company are Irina Kutuzova with a share of 28.34%, Fria Invest LLC - 12.75% and Denis Tsypulev - 11.32%.

In 2020, the company raised ₽37 million from five business angels, including Mikhail Gavrilov, vice president of St. Petersburg Bank, and Viktor Savyuk, creator of the Dendy game console. In 2022, the company received additional investments in the amount of $1.8 million from a group of investors, including the founder of First BIT Anton Dolgov and the general director of Korus Consulting Alexander Semenov.

The Internet Initiatives Development Fund plans to promote the scaling of service sales in the small, medium and large business segments. The increase in the share of the fund occurred against the background of an increase in the authorized capital of the company from ₽25,2 thousand to ₽28 thousand.[1]

2022: Attracting 120 million rubles of investments

On May 12, 2022, the Financier cloud service for management accounting and analytics for small and medium-sized businesses announced the attraction of 120 million rubles of investments. Anton Dolgov, founder of First BIT, Roman Kalinkin, director of the First Bit Lab accelerator, Alexander Semenov, general director of KORUS Consulting Group of Companies, and Alexander Monosov, general director of BFT, have invested in the startup.

The funds raised by Financier will be directed to scaling sales, marketing and product development: developing a mobile application and improving functionality for large businesses. The estimated value of the startup following the results of the investment transaction was not disclosed.

Russian management accounting service "Financier" attracted 120 million rubles of investment

The founder and head of Financier Stanislav Kutuzov believes that these investments will help the service consolidate its leadership positions in the Russian and CIS markets. It is noted that the project team by May 2022 strengthens the product and develops the ecosystem, as well as works to increase business efficiency and the level of financial literacy among entrepreneurs.

2020: Attracting 37 million rubles of investments

On October 13, 2020, the Financier management accounting service for small and medium-sized businesses announced the attraction of 37 million rubles of investments. Invested in the startup:

  • creator of Dendy, member of the board of directors of Cinemood Viktor Savyuk;
  • entrepreneur and business angel Pavel Orlov;
  • Mikhail Bazhenov, partner of one of the Big Four audit companies in Russia;
  • investor and expert in the field of software development Alexander Sokolov;
  • Vice President of St. Petersburg Bank, founder of Fantasy Invest, venture capital investor Mikhail Gavrilov.

The parties do not disclose the assessment of Financier and other details of the transaction (including the shares received by investors).

The funds received by Financier intends to spend scaling up sales and developing a partner network in Russia, as well as expanding the functions of the service and international expansion.

The Financier service is aimed at medium-sized business owners (with a turnover of 120 million rubles or more). By October 2020, more than 10 thousand users were registered in the project, it was used by such companies as Radio Chanson, iFarm, Nissan dealership, as well as many other production and trading companies.

The development of Financier is able to integrate with different accounting systems (for example, 1C) in 5 minutes and build reports on one or a group of companies in real time, the company said in a statement dated October 13, 2020.
