At the end of February 2024, it became known that PJSC Inter RAO acquired two energy sales companies from PJSC Rosseti. The total value of these transactions amounted to approximately 5.9 billion rubles.

As a result of the victory in the competitive procedures conducted by PJSC Rosseti, the Inter RAO group acquired control over two energy sales companies - guaranteeing suppliers in Yekaterinburg and the Pskov region. In particular, 100% of the shares of Pskovenergosbyt JSC and 91.044% of the shares of Yekaterinburg energosbyt JSC were received. The acquisition of these assets cost 5.951 billion rubles.

As Interfax notes, both sales are guaranteeing suppliers in the Pskov region and Yekaterinburg, respectively. It was assumed that 100% of Pskovenergosbyt will be acquired by St. Petersburg Sales Company JSC, and 91.044% of Yekaterinburg Energosbyt will be bought by Mosenergosbyt JSC. These transactions will increase the consumer base of the Inter RAO group by 3.3% to 19.8 million subscribers. At the same time, the share occupied by the group's sales companies in the Russian retail electricity market will increase from 18.5% to 19.2%.

In addition to Pskov and Yekaterinburg sales, PJSC Rosseti also includes PJSC Dagestan Energy Sales Company, OJSC Kalmenergosbyt, OJSC Kachaevo-Cherkesskenergo, OJSC Kabbalkenergo, OJSC Ingushenergo, OJSC Sevkavkazenergo, Rossar Yantar Energosbyt (formerly simply Yantarenergosbyt), which carries out activities for the purchase and sale of electric energy. At the same time, Rosseti Yantar Energosbyt owns approximately 19.99% in the capital of the energy sales holding PJSC GK TNS energo.

In addition, PJSC Inter RAO in February 2024 acquired 50% of Kashirskaya GRES LLC from Nordenergogrupp LLC (Alexey Mordashov's structure). The amount of this transaction amounted to approximately 6.4 billion rubles.[1]
