Bashkiria for the year purchased 4980 units of medical equipment and 99 medical cars

In 2025, Bashkortostan purchased 4,980 units of medical equipment and 99 special forces vehicles. The amount of funding for regional health projects for the year amounted to billions of rubles.

According to Ministry of Health Bashkortostan, 5.7 billion rubles were allocated for the implementation of the project "Modernization of primary health care," of which 3.5 billion were from the federal budget. With these funds, 6 polyclinics were built, 9 medical facilities were repaired, 134 modular structures were installed.

In June 2025, the surgical building of the Republican Cardiocenter was opened with the participation of President Vladimir Putin. The construction of the polyclinic building of the Republican Clinical Hospital named after G. G. Kuvatov with a design capacity of 1,500 visits per shift continued.

Within the framework of the national project "Family," 1.049 billion rubles were allocated for the protection of motherhood and childhood (1.028 billion from the federal budget). These funds were equipped with 3 perinatal centers in Ufa, 11 antenatal clinics were opened, 4 modular consultations were built.

For 11 months of 2025, 27,574 children were born in the republic. Infant mortality was a record low 3.2%. Medical examination was carried out by 1.67 million adults, professional examinations - 221,264 people, reproductive health examination - 532,374 people. Out of 370,560 detected diseases, 336,924 cases were registered.

The State Health Information System (GISZ) was introduced in more than 200 medical institutions and 120 pharmacies. Over 30 thousand health workers were trained. 200 thousand teleconsultations were held. With the help of AI, 380 thousand images were processed. The project of the Ministry of Health of Bashkortostan "Digital FAP" was recognized as the best in Russia.

Over 50 thousand people are employed in the republic's health care, including 15.8 thousand doctors and 35.2 thousand nurses. The personnel deficit decreased by 442 medical and 272 average positions. 8 medical colleges and 6 branches with 957 students conduct training. The issue of 2025 amounted to 2322 specialists, 3320 is expected in 2026.

Under the Zemsky Doctor/Paramedic program, 259 health workers received payments in the amount of 279 million rubles. Bashkortostan is the leader in the Russian Federation in terms of healthcare financing.[1]

Spending ₽1 billion to open new antenatal clinics

Bashkortostan in 2025 allocated more than ₽1 billion for the repair and re-equipment of antenatal clinics and perinatal centers within the framework of the regional program "On the protection of motherhood and childhood" of the national project "Family." This was reported by the press service of the government of the republic at a government meeting on December 24, 2025.

According to sterlegrad, Prime Minister of the Government of Bashkortostan Andrei Nazarov noted that the program is focused on ensuring the availability of qualified medical care for women and children. There are 39 women's consultations in the region. In December 2025, new institutions began work in the Miyakinsky and Krasnokamsky districts, by the end of the year nine more will open in the republic.

Bashkiria spent ₽1 billion in a year to open new women's consultations

All new women's consultations were created on the basis of the offices of obstetricians-gynecologists of the central district hospitals. The transformation of existing offices into full-fledged consultations expands the range of health services available. Patients access modern diagnosis and treatment without having to travel to other localities.

To equip the new units, 2,668 units of medical equipment were purchased. The procurement includes stationary and mobile ultrasound diagnostic devices, colposcopes and electrosurgical installations. Modern equipment allows diagnostics in the early stages of diseases.

The institutions have opened modern day hospital wards for the treatment of gynecological pathology. Day hospitals allow for procedures without hospitalization. Patients receive treatment throughout the day and return home, which reduces the burden on 24-hour hospitals.

Repair work was carried out taking into account a single design project. Lean technologies have been introduced, conditions have been created for the implementation of a full range of medical and diagnostic procedures in modern manipulation rooms. A single design ensures the recognition of institutions and creates a comfortable environment for patients.[2]

Bashkiria allocated ₽1 billion for the purchase of medical equipment for women's consultations and perinatal centers in 2025

The Republic of Bashkortostan will allocate more than ₽1 billion to the development of the maternal and child health care system, including equipping perinatal centers with modern equipment and creating new antenatal clinics in rural areas. Financing is carried out within the framework of the national project "Family" and the regional program "Protection of motherhood and childhood." This was announced by the Minister of Health of the Republic Airat Rakhmatullin on June 30, 2025.

According to Bashinform, over ₽350 million were allocated for equipping perinatal centers in Bashkortostan with modern equipment. An additional almost ₽715 million will be directed to the creation of antenatal clinics in rural areas, including funds from the federal budget.

The authorities of Bashkortostan sent 1 billion rubles to equip women's consultations and perinatal centers with medical equipment in 2025

It is planned to equip the Republican Clinical Perinatal Center with high-tech medical equipment. The modernization will also affect obstetric hospitals of the Kuvatov Republican Clinical Hospital and the City Clinical Perinatal Center.

As part of the program, specialized equipment for maternity wards and operating units will be purchased. Medical institutions will receive new artificial lung ventilation devices and modern sledges for nursing newborn children.

During 2025, eight new antenatal clinics will open on the basis of district hospitals. Medical institutions will appear in Yazykovo, Buraevo, Isyangulovo, Krasnokamsk, Bolshaya Ustyikinka, Miyakinsky, Nurimanovsky and Verkhne-Tatyshlinsky districts.

Additionally, in 2026, it is planned to open four modular antenatal consultations. The new medical centers will be located on the basis of the Maloyazovskaya, Karaidelskaya, Baltachevskaya and Akyarskaya central regional hospitals.

All 12 new women's consultations will function in a working format using Lean Technologies. This approach allows you to optimize the processes of medical care and reduce the waiting time for patients.[3]

Purchase of 5 thousand units of medical equipment

About 5 thousand. units of medical equipment will be purchased in Bashkiria in 2025. This was announced on June 16, 2025 by the press service of the head of the republic.

According to TASS, financing of the program for the modernization of primary health care of the national project "Long and Active Life" will amount to ₽4,98 billion in 2025. Of this amount, ₽3,5 billion will come from the federal budget.

Bashkiria buys 5 thousand units of medical equipment under the program for ₽5 billion

Medical organizations of the republic have already received 3,838 pieces of equipment. It is planned to purchase about 5 thousand units of medical equipment by the end of 2025.

Minister of Health of Bashkiria Airat Rakhmatullin reported on the program at a meeting in the regional government. According to him, six polyclinics in various municipalities of the republic will be put into operation.

New clinics will open in cities, Blagoveshchensk Uchaly and Yanaul. Three medical institutions will be built in Askinsky, Bakalinsky and Abzelilovsky districts.

The program provides for the overhaul of nine healthcare facilities in various settlements of Bashkiria. The work is aimed at improving the conditions for the provision of medical care to the population.

As part of the modernization, 134 modular structures will be installed to accommodate medical services. Modular buildings will allow rapid deployment of additional capacity in areas with a shortage of medical infrastructure.

The region continues to update the ambulance fleet as part of the program. Bashkiria plans to purchase 99 sanitary cars for various purposes.

Among the purchased ambulances will be specialized cars for transporting bedridden patients. Such transport is necessary to transport patients with limited mobility.[4]

2024

Spending ₽4,46 billion on the purchase and installation of medical equipment

In mid-April 2025, the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Bashkortostan reported that in 2024, ₽4,46 billion were allocated for the development of medical infrastructure, including the purchase and installation of medical equipment. This information was announced by the Minister of Health of the Republic Airat Rakhmatullin during the final board of the department, where the results of the work for 2024 were summed up.

According to the government of Bashkiria, within the framework of the allocated funding, medical institutions in the region received over 4 thousand pieces of equipment and 206 cars. In addition, a new polyclinic was built in Kushnarenkovo, nine healthcare facilities were repaired, 135 modular feldsher-midwife stations and outpatient clinics were installed.

In Bashkiria, they spent ₽4,46 billion per year on the purchase and installation of medical equipment

Thanks to large-scale investments in healthcare, Bashkiria took first place in Russia in the implementation of the national project "Healthcare." The region successfully completed the key tasks of the project: modernized medical organizations, expanded the availability of medical care, and also strengthened work on the prevention and early detection of diseases.

The program for the modernization of health care in the republic will continue in 2025. It is planned to commission six more polyclinics - in Blagoveshchensk, Yanaul, Uchaly, Askarovo, Askino and Bakaly. The renewal of the fleet and the technical base of medical institutions will also continue.

Special attention in the region is paid to the drug provision of citizens. In 2024, ₽6,2 billion from the regional and federal budgets were allocated for this direction. For 12 months, 1.5 million preferential prescriptions were provided. Monitoring of supply chains and logistics of drugs is carried out continuously as part of the operational headquarters.[5]

3.53 billion rubles allocated for healthcare in Bashkiria

The volume of subsidies allocated to Bashkiria for the implementation of regional projects for the modernization of primary health care in 2025 will amount to 3.53 billion rubles. This follows from the order of the Russian government, published in October 2024.

The amount of state support to the republic from the federal center by the end of 2024 will amount to 2.369 billion rubles. The amount of funding for the program "Development of Healthcare of the Republic of Bashkortostan" (among the regional projects of the national project "Healthcare") until 2030 will amount to 822 billion rubles.

Purchase of 4 thousand units of medical equipment

At the end of June 2024, it became known that as part of the program for the modernization of primary health care, the Republic of Bashkortostan plans to purchase over 4 thousand units of medical equipment. This solution is aimed at improving the quality and availability of medical care for residents of the region.

The head of the Republic of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov emphasized the importance of this initiative in the context of the implementation of national projects and federal programs in the field of health care. He noted that the region is actively introducing digital technologies into medical practice, including the use of artificial intelligence to improve the diagnosis and treatment of patients.

Bashkiria buys 4 thousand units of medical equipment

As part of the program for the modernization of primary health care in Bashkortostan, seven new and nine existing medical institutions will be built in 2024. In addition to purchasing medical equipment, it is planned to purchase more than 200 vehicles for the needs of medical services.

Particular attention is paid to the development of pediatric care. In 2024, the Republican Center for Pediatric Oncology and Hematology opened in Ufa, equipped with modern equipment and staffed with highly qualified specialists trained in leading federal clinics.

The leadership of the republic also plans to expand the network of women's consultations, including using modular structures in rural areas and small towns. This decision is made within the framework of the new national project "Family" and is aimed at improving the availability of medical care for women and children.

To attract medical personnel to the countryside in Bashkortostan, the Zemsky Doctor and Zemsky Paramedic programs are being implemented. At the end of 2023, the region took third place among the constituent entities of the Russian Federation in terms of the amount of funds allocated for these purposes from the federal budget.[6]

107 billion rubles were spent on the construction of medical institutions and the purchase of medical equipment in Bashkiria for the year

At the end of 2023, ₽107 billion were spent on the construction of medical institutions and the purchase of equipment in Bashkiria. These funds are aimed at updating the health infrastructure of the region, including the construction of new facilities and the modernization of existing ones. This information was announced in September 2024 by the Acting Minister of Health of the Republic Robert Ishtukov at an operational meeting under the leadership of the head of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov.

According to Kommersant, in 2023, five large medical facilities were built in Bashkiria and 98 modular structures were installed, including 84 feldsher-obstetric points, nine medical outpatient clinics and five offices of a general practitioner. In addition, 4,233 medical equipment items worth ₽ 1.3 billion and 185 primary care vehicles worth more than ₽203 million were purchased.

Also, 25 mobile medical complexes for preventive examinations and 20 units of heavy medical equipment, including computed tomographs, mammographs, fluorographs and angiographs, were received in the republic, which made it possible to significantly improve the diagnosis and treatment of patients.

One of the priority areas in Bashkiria was the use of modern information technologies. In 2023, the Webiomed medical decision support system based on artificial intelligence technologies was introduced, which is integrated with the republican information system. As part of the development of telemedicine, more than 100 thousand teleconsultations were held through the "Center for Remote Consultations."

Bashkiria entered the top five regions of Russia in the implementation of the project of making an appointment with a doctor. In 2024, the republic will begin participating in a pilot project aimed at improving the effectiveness of primary health care.[7]

Former head of the department - accused in the case of writing off preferential drugs

The ex-head of the department for organizing pharmaceutical activities and drug support of the Ministry of Health of Bashkiria, 44-year-old Svetlana Khusainova, is accused of negligence, resulting in particularly large damage (part 1.1 of article 293 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). 2019: SK: Bashkiria Ministry of Health purchased 10 times more cancer drugs than required

In mid-April 2022, the Investigation Department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the Republic of Bashkortostan announced the initiation of a criminal case under Part 1 of Art. 286 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (abuse of office) in connection with the revealed violations in the procurement of cancer drugs by the regional Ministry of Health.

According to the investigation, in 2019, the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Bashkortostan purchased the drug Triptorelin, included in the list of vital and essential drugs, in the amount of more than 3.7 thousand packages for a total amount of over 51 million rubles. At the same time, in violation of the requirements of the legislation in the field of procurement of goods to meet state and municipal needs, the amount of the purchased drug exceeded about 10 times the real need for the specified drug to provide patients in medical institutions of the republic.

The Ministry of Health of Bashkiria for the year purchased 10 times more cancer drugs than required

As a result, 1,670 packages of the drug with a total value of more than 10 million rubles have expired, thereby causing damage to the budget of the republic by the above amount, the regional IC said in a statement.

They also reported that by mid-April 2022, investigators organized a set of investigative actions aimed at establishing all the circumstances and causes of the identified violations, as well as the persons who committed them. The progress and results of the investigation are under the control of the leadership of the investigative department of the republic.

Drugs with the international non-proprietary name "Tryptorelin" are registered in Russia with Pharmstandard-UfaVITA (Tryptorelin-long), French Ipsen (Diferelin) and German Ferring (Decapeptil).

The Federal Compulsory Medical Insurance Fund in April 2022 presented data on violations in the write-off of chemotherapy drugs. The total amount of dubious transactions, which cannot be confirmed, in 2021 amounted to 185.9 million rubles.[8]
