Inguru is an electronic platform for selecting insurance and banking products. By May 2021, 16 insurance companies were connected to it, including Rosgosstrakh, Alfa Insurance, Renaissance Insurance, SOGAZ, VSK, Ingosstrakh, Consent and MAKS. The service offers customers the opportunity to compare and buy financial products (OSAGO, CASCO, mortgages, credit cards, consumer loans, car loans, deposits, debit cards, microloans). Inguru calls itself the leader of the OSAGO insurance market with a monthly audience of more than 1 million people.

History

2021: Moscow Exchange bought Inguru

On May 11, 2021, the Moscow Exchange announced the acquisition of Inguru. Under the terms of the agreement, the buyer receives 70% of the financial product selection platform and the right to increase this share to 10% within five years.

The parties to the transaction do not disclose its value and only note that the total amount will depend on the dynamics of Inguru's operational and financial indicators.

The acquisition of the company is part of the strategy of the Moscow Exchange to enter adjacent markets. Inguru founder Rustam Hasanshin in a conversation with Kommersant said that the company's team will develop services of a single platform together with the Finuslug team. According to him, Inguru, in addition to the product sales platform itself, also presents wide content on financial topics. An agent network of more than 20 thousand people will be repurposed for the Finslug project, he added.[1][2]
