PJSC "Rosseti Moscow Region" was created as a result of reorganization in the form of separation from OJSC Mosenergo"." The main activities of the Company are the provision of transmission and distribution services, technological electric power connection of consumers to electric networks.Rosseti Moskovsky Region provides services for the transmission of electricity to guaranteeing suppliers, energy sales companies and direct consumers - participants in the wholesale and retail electricity market on the basis of contracts for the provision of electricity transmission services.

History

2023: Agreement with Skoltech in the field of technological development of the power grid complex

On October 11, 2023, an agreement was signed between PJSC Rosseti Moscow Region and ANO Skolkovsky Institute of Science and Technology (Skoltech), which is aimed at interaction in the field of technological development of the electric grid complex of the Moscow region. The agreement was signed by the general director of Rosseti Moscow Region PJSC Pyotr Sinyutin and the rector of Skoltech Alexander Kuleshov.

As part of the agreement, it is planned to introduce sensory technologies at energy facilities and provide predictive analytics data for the use of risk-oriented control tools for the state of overhead transmission lines. A system will be developed to assess the level of contamination and deterioration of insulators based on diagnostic data and predict equipment breakdown depending on its condition and location. The implementation of the development will improve the reliability and quality of power supply to consumers in the Moscow region by preventing technological disruptions at power facilities.

Rosseti Moscow Region is interested in the development of the company's electric grid complex through the use of domestic technologies and developments. Thus, the predictive analytics system introduced by the company based on predicted weather deterioration will prevent emergency situations, predict the location and volume of technological violations. The functionality also provides for the definition of resources that need to be mobilized for restoration work. The introduction of predictive control of the state of overhead power lines will allow high-quality preventive measures on the equipment, monitor its condition and promptly respond to possible emergency situations. Together with Skoltech, we are taking a step forward towards ensuring one hundred percent reliability of electricity supply to consumers, "said Peter Sinyutin.

2022: Rosseti Moscow Region presents 7 new IT products

IT solutions from PJSC RossetiMoskovsky Region are intended primarily for large companies of the fuel and energy complex (electric grid organizations, gas distribution companies, heat and water supply organizations), but can be replicated for enterprises of other industries. The introduction of the proposed IT products can help automate your company's business processes and digitalize your business. Almost all products are included in the Unified Register of Russian Programs for Electronic Computing Databases, which is of particular importance in the context of import substitution. 2020: Name change to Rosseti Moscow region

Based on the decision of the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders of PJSC Moscow United Electric Grid Company dated June 1, 2020, the Charter of the organization was amended. The name of the company has been changed to PJSC Rosseti Moscow Region[1]

2017

Smart Grid Construction Plan in New Moscow

As TAdviser was told in the company in June 2017, by 2023 MOESK plans to implement a project to build smart distribution networks (Smart Grid) in one of the service territories - in New Moscow. In this pilot zone, MOESK will "run in" technologies, which can then be used to intellectualize networks throughout Moscow. Aktivs

MOESK is an asset of Rosseti and one of the largest distribution power grid companies in Russia. The company's shares are traded on the Moscow Stock Exchange.

According to 2017 data, the following were in service with MOESK:

  • 611 high-voltage power supply centers with a total transformer capacity of more than 49 thousand. MBA;
  • 37.5 thousand substations of distribution networks with a capacity of about 26 thousand. MBA,
  • more than 72 thousand km, overhead lines and
  • 78.8 thousand km of cable networks.

As of 2017, the company's structure included 8 branches with a total number of personnel over 15 thousand people and 4 subsidiaries.

2016: Activities of the Moscow United Power Grid Company

MOESK provides services for the transmission of electricity and technological connection of consumers to its electric networks in Moscow and the Moscow region. In Moscow, MOESK is the largest supplier in the electric grid services market. In 2016, its share was 60% of the required gross revenue (NVB) of the region. In the Moscow region, the same indicator for MOESK was 71% in 2016.

The area served by MOESK is about 46.9 thousand km ². The total population is over 19 million people.
