2023: Rector Balykhin accused of fraud worth 210 million rubles

Former rector of the Russian Biotechnology University (RBU; previously it was called Moscow State University of Food Production) Mikhail Balykhin and six of his subordinates are accused of fraud worth 210 million rubles. On October 17, 2022 Ministry of Science and Higher Education , an order was signed to rename the federal state budgetary educational institution of the higher " formations Moscow State University of Food Production" into the Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Education "Russian Biotechnology University" ("Rosbiotech").
