According to CNews with reference to the Zelenograd prosecutor's office, a criminal case was initiated under Part 2 of Article 145.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, which provides for liability for full non-payment of wages for more than two months, committed out of selfish or other personal interest by the head of the organization. The maximum fine under this article is ₽500 thousand, which is 122 times less than the plant's debt to employees.

The plant owed this employee wages for three months, but subsequently settled the issue in pre-trial order, paying the funds due and additional compensation.
Two lawsuits were filed against Kvant to declare him bankrupt in the Moscow Arbitration Court. The first plaintiff is the Zelenograd inspectorate of the Federal Tax Service, the second is the company DNS Retail LLC, known as the network of DNS technology stores.

The retailer terminated the contract with Quantum and went to court for compensation for overpayment in the amount of ₽654,5 million.[1]
