2022: Institute for Advanced Strategic Studies established in Russia
At the end of May 2022, it became known about the creation of the Institute for Advanced Strategic Studies (IPSI) on the basis of the National Research University Higher School of Economics (HSE). The new institution was headed by the former secretary of the Security Council of Russia, deputy head of the scientific director of the Higher School of Economics, academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences Andrei Kokoshin. Financing of IPSI activities is carried out at the expense of the budget of the thematic plan of research work (basic scientific research and applied scientific research), envisaged, among other things, by the state assignment of the National Research University "Higher School economics "and other sources, including research projects and government contracts.[1]
