"AIT Academy" creates, develops and implements individual solutions for corporate training and has extensive experience, in particular, in the field of training in the field of information security. It also supplies software to millions of students and faculty worldwide.

2020
The 2020 pandemic has made major adjustments to our lives, including educational activities. After spring, the landscape of distance learning will not remain the same. Only those educational organizations that have systematically developed distance learning services for years, embedded them in educational processes, were able to quickly close the needs of corporate customers for remote training of personnel.
The AIT Academy, which has its own platform, e-learning resources, and services for organizing distance learning in the customer infrastructure, was able to transfer more than 2,000 students of corporate clients to the "remote" in a matter of days in March. And immediately offered the market the anti-crisis package "Virtual Training Center," which consists in the rapid start of a cloud-based remote training system with full technical support and a basic set of courses.
Experts in the field of distance education expect that according to the results of 2020, at least 10% of the education market will be the segment of online education and digital education products, or the so-called Education Technologies (EdTech). It is predicted that today's technological and educational startups, which are now developing new EdTech products, will occupy this segment. However, so far the number of startups has not passed into the quality of the educational system.
Over the past 5 years, the landscape of the authorized training market has almost completely changed. The trend for import substitution is increasing every year, the pace in the IT industry is growing. Import substitution processes have led to the fact that the range of IT products has expanded: the market now has both Western and Asian manufacturers, whose solutions can be compared both in terms of technology and in terms of price and savings. More and more successful Russian IT solutions are emerging, attitudes towards domestic developments are improving. There is a growing demand for IT personnel who own Russian software. The transition of government agencies to domestic software revealed a shortage of professionals who know how to work with such programs. In this regard, training in working with Russian software products, including office applications for users, will be in demand.
In a rapidly changing digital landscape, as the pandemic period vividly emphasized, crossfunctionality is a key quality for many specialists. In all industries, IT service project, change, and release management methods, incident, quality, and risk management approaches, automation methods, and solution architecture are more timely than ever. The status of Project Management Professional (PMP) should be virtually every modern manager.
Requirements for cybersecurity specialists are changing. Realities have shown relevance in the training of "safe people" of the new generation. The transition of industries to remote work revealed the lack of readiness of the infrastructure of many organizations and information security departments to work in a remote format. It is projected to increase in training in information security of personnel of organizations. Any employee, starting with the worker, today must own the basics of cybersecurity. Each specialist of the "future" must have knowledge of information security, from the base level and in increasing.
Promising directions in IT training are equal to the priorities of the digital economy - this is infrastructure, regulatory regulation, a fundamentally new management system, advanced technologies, and ways of interacting in a single information space, and information security.
2018-2019
The AIT Academy has completed more than 2,000 educational projects of various scales, with orders for the development of EDTech solutions: electronic courses, distance learning portals, mobile applications for staff adaptation, advanced training and professional retraining programs for personnel of commercial companies and enterprises, government customers. The distribution of customer shares remained unchanged compared to previous periods and amounted to: 52% of large commercial companies, 43% - public sector organizations.
In the EDTech development segment, the AITI Academy introduced comprehensive portal solutions for distance learning, developed electronic course libraries.
Information technology has become an integral part of many industries and has opened up new personnel profiles, such as: analysts, automation engineers, programmers, etc. The AIT Academy is increasingly training analysts who can work with big data. There is an increased demand for courses on machine learning, databases, development languages. According to the analogue of the past, training in import substitution technologies of Russian companies was in demand here.
In the evolution of the digital landscape, customers develop the competencies of personnel with managerial qualifications who can act as "translators" between the needs of the business and the suppliers of digital solutions. Last academic year, there was a stable demand for training in project management, training and certification for PMP (Project Management Professional), as well as IT management. For example, courses on the infrastructure library information technology ITIL and the author's advanced training program "Modern Chief information officer."
Over the years, the AITI Academy has responded to the increased interest of customers in training information security, as the number of cyber threats and the level of risks has been growing exponentially every year. Special attention to cybersecurity training is paid to customers from the banking industry. At the same time, in industries that are not directly related to IT, the importance of information security is still underestimated today. According to the AIT Academy, only about 40% of the market includes cybersecurity in the register of main corporate risks. However, the basics of security should be owned by each specialist of the "future," starting with ordinary employees. Therefore, for the mass training of personnel of organizations, the AITI Academy has released a modern electronic course "Fundamentals of Information Security for Users. Basic level, "with testing, simulations and gamification. The course is made in the format of a SCORM package, this indicates its convenience for universal installation in corporate distance learning systems. Immediately at the start of the course, oil and gas companies became advanced in the order, a few months later the demand for supply was growing in various industries.
Responding to market trends, the AITI Academy confirmed the accreditation of the Project Management Institute, PMI with the extension of the Global Provider Enrollment Level. The status confirms the right to conduct authorized courses in project management. The Project Management Institute (PMI) is a professional association that is a recognized world leader in project management and is responsible for standards, training and professional certification of managers.
The catalog of programs of the AITI Academy on import substitution products was supplemented by courses on (OS) Astra Linux. The company signed a partnership agreement with NPO RusBITeh, a developer of domestic information systems and software.
The cooperation agreement was concluded by the National Research University "Higher School of Economics." According to the document, the parties will unite efforts in the scientific and educational fields in the field of information modeling in construction - BIM technologies. Within the framework of the partnership, it is planned to conduct scientific research on technological trends and advanced competencies related to information modeling in construction. Develop and develop joint educational programs for advanced training and professional retraining.
The long-standing statuses of the authorized training center, Microsoft,, Cisco,, Autodesk, and Postgres Professional Security Code Crypto-Pro Aladdin R.D. other vendors have been confirmed.
Authorized courses on the Astra Linux operating system
As it became known on November 23, 2018, authorized courses on the Astra Linux operating system (OS) supplemented the catalog of the AITI Academy on import-substituting products. The company signed a partnership agreement with NPO RusBITeh, a developer of domestic information systems and software.
The development of high-tech sectors of the Russian economy is constrained by a number of problems. One of the main ones is the availability and quality of training. Import substitution as an infrastructure circuit should take place not only at the level of changing strategies and tactics in approaches to building information solutions, but also in personnel requirements of public and private companies. Advanced training and retraining of personnel are provided by those educational organizations that respond flexibly and quickly to time requirements. One of these companies is the AITI Academy, where programs on domestic solutions have been successfully carried out for a number of years and are regularly supplemented.
author '= Igor Morozov, Rector of the AITI Academy ' The key task in import substitution is training personnel, since the register of domestic software already contains about five thousand software products. Among the first training centers, we initiated the introduction of educational programs on the solutions of Russian developers. Partnership with NPO RusBITeh is a natural step in the development of our portfolio. We have formed a catalogue of courses on compatible domestic products. Our many years of experience in authorized training, a wide network of branches - all this in the complex will make Astra Linux courses available to the maximum number of interested customers, thereby increasing product penetration. |
author '= Fedor Kirdyashov, Director of Education "RusBITeh-Astra" ' Understanding the importance of developing human resources potential in the information technology industry for the country's economy, NPO RusBITeh is implementing a strategy to form a single educational space Astra Linux throughout the Russian Federation. The goal of the strategy is to provide training for effective work with the Astra Linux operating system family. In such a significant direction, the AIT Academy is a strategically important and reliable partner for us. We are ready not only to expand the range of courses, but also to jointly develop forms of interaction with users of the Astra Linux operating system. |
The AIT Academy certified teachers and launched a line of courses for administrators and users of Astra Linux. Training will take place at branches of the training center in all federal districts. According to the results, students will receive vendor certificates and certificates of advanced training.
2016-2017
Turnover increased by 15%
The 2016/17 academic year was a qualitative stage in the development of the AIT Academy, which began to implement a business strategy focused on digital transformation trends for the period until 2020. The share of individuals in the trends of the previous year decreased and amounted to 3.5% of the total number of customers of the training center. The overall turnover of the training business of the AITI Academy remained stable, at the level of 2015.
The key state and budget customers of the training center included: the Ministry of CENTRAL BANK OF THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION Bank of Russia Communications transport and Communications of the Sverdlovsk Region, the Government of the Rostov Region; Department of state Civil Service and Personnel Policy, CIAO; Apparatus of the Governor of the Tyumen region; Federal Bailiff Service; Federal Cadastral Chamber of the Federal State Registration, Cadastre and Cartography Service, Kalinin NPP, Department of Labor and Social Protection, Moscow State State Institution of Moscow "Administrator of the Moscow Parking Space"; State Tretyakov Gallery and many others.
Information technology, information security, state and municipal administration are among the three popular areas of training for the public sector. The course on import substitution spurred the interest of customers in programs for free software, which has already occupied its certain niche in the informatization of the public sector.
Contracts of Akademii AyTi with the Government of the Rostov region, Federal budgetary institution "Administration of the Volga-Don Basin of Inland Waterways", Management of military and technical supply of Service of economic providing Federal Guard Service of the Russian Federation (UVTS SHO FSO of Russia), JSC Uchalinsky Mining and Processing Integrated Works, the Kalinin NPP, Federal Bailiff Service and others became examples of realization of advanced training courses on SPO.
The AIT Academy develops training on freely available technologies adapted and localized for Russia. An example is the entry of PostgreSQL courses, on the basis of which import substitution is provided in the DBMS area. For teaching these programs the training center received authorization of the Russian producer program obespecheniyapostgres Professional.
By the new academic year, an important replenishment of the catalog of courses of the AITI Academy on domestic software was authorized programs for 1C products, which are already actually enterprise management standards in our country, since most sectors of the Russian economy use 1C: Enterprise solutions.
For the public sector, orders aimed at solving the problems of informatization of society, in particular, to increase the computer literacy of the population, remain relevant. Last academic year, more than 8,000 residents of the retirement age of the Sverdlovsk region received computer literacy basics from the AITI Academy by order of the Ministry of Transport and Communications of the Sverdlovsk Region, more than 600 senior citizens studied in Moscow by order of the Moscow Department of Labor and Social Protection. Such projects are complex, as they require not only the execution of direct training functions, but also the resolution of many organizational issues: from the selection of facilities convenient for the elderly in distributed territories - in different urban and regional areas to providing comfortable computer equipment and recruiting groups of students.
The second place after information technology in demand is taken at the AITI Academy of programs on information security. Customers have previously used most of the products of Russian manufacturers, but recently there has been a significant increase in interest in domestic information protection technologies.
In addition to its own development courses, in the direction of supporting Russian e-learning technologies, the AIT Academy has entered into a partnership agreement with the Russian company Active Learning.
2013-2014
4% decline in sales
In 2013-2014 academic year AITI Academy showed expected financial results taking into account instability of additional vocational education market, state of economy and serious competition. The total turnover of the training business of the AITI Academy amounted to 349 million rubles, which shows a slight decline - by 4% compared to the previous period. 80% of the customers of the AITI Academy are state and commercial organizations. In total, according to the results of the 2013-2014 school year, the company trained more than 56,000 people throughout Russia.
Our company is well positioned to benefit from negative market trends, "comments Igor Morozov," we consider the decline as a powerful motivation to implement new solutions, bring "in tone" and mobilize all the forces of our team. I believe that with this mood we will be able to approach the results of the 2014 financial year with positive results. The company's plans for the main commercial indicators are feasible. In the near future, the company intends to announce a number of initiatives and plans for business development. |
In the 2013/2014 school year, the IT training market was exposed to a number of negative factors. In 2013, there was a 1% reduction in the IT market, according to IDC, which also led to a decrease in the IT training market. The economic and political situation in 2014 also influenced the conservative formation of budgets for staff training.
The final entry into force of the new Law No. 273-FZ "On Education in the Russian Federation," which does not provide for State accreditation and issuance of State-style documents under advanced training programs, significantly affected the entire sphere of additional vocational education. Thus, from September 1, 2013, all organizations implementing additional vocational education programs issue documents of the established type. In the current conditions, customers prefer training centers with a good reputation, great work experience and confirmed competencies of teachers. IT Academy is a well-known brand in the IT training market. The diplomas of the AITI Academy are perceived as evidence of the highest quality of training, and are also the foundation for international certification. That is why customers whose focus - the development of their staff - choose to continue working with the company.
In June 2014, the AITI Academy celebrated its 19th anniversary.
80% of the customers of the AITI Academy are state and commercial organizations. In total, according to the results of the 2013-2014 school year, the company trained more than 56,000 people throughout Russia. Of these:

In addition to face-to-face training, the AITI Academy has an extensive audience of users of remote education technologies, reaching more than 60,000 people who have studied in various advanced training programs in electronic format.
The company considers the development of directions for the development of mobile applications and project management in the field of software development, professional retraining and advanced training in information security, advanced training of state and municipal employees to be the main drivers of growth, "said Igor Morozov, rector of the AITI Academy. |

- State and municipal administration.
As of August 2014, the regional network of the AITI Academy includes 15 training centers in the largest regions of Russia. Branches provide face-to-face and distance training to corporate and government customers. The development department conducts large-scale e-learning projects, from building and implementing distance learning systems to developing e-content of any complexity.
Bet on mobile apps
Among these areas, the development of mobile applications is gaining popularity, both among developers and among companies offering various services for which such applications have become convenient marketing and communication tools. The earnings of Android developers are growing rapidly, the development of monetization models, as well as the variety of user preferences when choosing applications, plays to the benefit of those who decided to make a career in Android development. Responding to the challenges of the trend, the AIT Academy has received the status of an authorized Google training center and will already introduce the training and certification of app developers on the Android platform. Courses are in demand both among beginners and already advanced programmers, who begin to receive income from their activities, which inspires them to improve in their chosen specialization and provide end users with increasingly high-quality and interesting programs.
Authorization from ScrumStudy
A significant step in 2014 was the achievement by the AITI Academy of the status of an authorized training center of ScrumStudy (ScrumStudy Registered Education Provider) - a worldwide accreditation organization of Scrum and Agile methodologies, the most popular in the management of software development projects . Scrum methods provide adaptive project planning, rapid and flexible response to changes, evolutionary development. More and more companies use Scrum not only in the production of software, but also in the production of financial products, Internet projects, medical products, etc. The Scrum methodology study and certification of specialists at the AIT Academy are of particular interest to the heads of development departments, analysts, project managers, all companies that plan or have already implemented this methodology.
Coordination of the security program with the FSTEC and the FSB
If in IT areas, the foundation of knowledge for subsequent international certification is of high importance for students, then in the field of information security, the coordination of educational programs with industry regulators plays a special role. It was the program of professional retraining of the AITI Academy in the direction of "Information Security" for 540 academic hours that such coordination took place - with the FSTEC and the FSB of Russia and became one of the most successful own developments of the training center. The program fully meets the requirements of Government Decree No. 313 of April 16, 2012 "On Approval of the Regulation on Licensing of Activities for the Development, Production, Distribution of Encryption (Cryptographic) Tools." The program provides in-depth knowledge in the field of information security management in accordance with the requirements of the legislation of the Russian Federation and international security standards. Graduates of the program have professional competencies in various areas of activity necessary to organize and ensure the comprehensive protection of informatization facilities of state authorities and local governments. Another difference of the program, especially valuable for employed specialists, is the ability to combine work and study at a convenient time, since the educational process takes place in a mixed format using remote educational technologies.
In addition, in the direction of "Information Security," remote advanced training courses for 72 hours on ensuring the security of personal data have successfully proved themselves. This form of training allows you to obtain the necessary knowledge regardless of the location of the student and does not require his presence in the classroom. It is important that at the same time the student is provided with educational and methodological support, final certification is carried out and graduation documents are issued. This year, according to the results of training, more than 500 students of the AITI Academy in Russia received certificates of advanced training.
In the same electronic format, using remote educational technologies, responding to the needs of customers, the AITI Academy introduced a training program for public procurement specialists for 120 hours in terms of studying the peculiarities of work under the Federal Law of 05.04.2013 No. 44-FZ "On placing orders for the supply of goods, performance of work, provision of services for state and municipal needs, "which entered into force on January 1, 2014. When the new law comes into force, questions arise and the need for "transition period" actions. And the new No. 44-FZ was no exception. The management of public and municipal procurement in the contract system requires both system knowledge and practical skills from professionals performing procedures. To justify procurement, it is necessary to apply a wide range of legislation: civil, budgetary, tax, administrative, corporate, including law enforcement practices in the use of this legislation in the management of state and municipal purchases. The program of the AIT Academy allows you to form competencies from students on the use of the regulatory framework to ensure state and municipal procurement; provides practical knowledge on the planning and implementation of public procurement. The electronic format is noticeably convenient for remote listeners, and about 200 listeners have already received certificates of advanced training in this area.
In parallel with the introduction of new programs, the AITI Academy not only retained, but also increased its strongest positions in working with key partners. Thus, as an exclusive distributor of Autodesk educational programs in Russia, the company continues to coordinate all training and certification in the direction of Autodesk. Within the framework of the educational program, the AITI Academy collaborates with more than 100 higher and professional educational institutions in Russia. This increases the number of Russian specialists who are trained and certified in Autodesk programs every year. This year, more than 1,000 exams for certification have already been adopted, of which 530 have been successfully passed, a total of 2,000 successfully passed certificates of specialists are expected before the end of the calendar year.
The results of the work of the AITI Academy with key partners are reflected not only in the numbers of trained and certified students, but also in a number of serious nominations in the status of the Best Training Center in Russia.
Awards from Microsoft, Huawei and Cisco
So, the most significant award on the eve of the new academic year 2014/2015 was the nomination "Best Microsoft Training Center 2014," awarded to the AITI Academy at the Microsoft World Partnership Conference (WPC 2014) in Washington. This is Microsoft's main partner event - a platform for discussing IT trends, partner business prospects, new technologies and products. And this year, the award was awarded to the only Russian training center - the AITI Academy. In the near future, the company intends to make a separate statement on the nomination received.
For the third time in a row, Huawei awards the AITI Academy the title of "Best Huawei Enterprise Training Center." Cisco has confirmed the high level of competence and the leading role of the AITI Academy in educational services in Russia and the CIS. According to the results of 2013, the Cisco "Quality Distinction Award" - "High Quality of Training" - was confirmed to the training center.
According to the results of the Superjob study, among more than 850 thousand companies in 2013, the AIT Academy was again recognized as one of the most attractive for applicants and received the status of "Attractive Employer - 2013." This is the seventh annual recruitment study, during which the largest recruitment portal Superjob.ru identifies the most attractive employers from the point of view of applicants.
Largest projects implemented
For 19 years, the AITI Academy has accumulated tremendous experience in implementing complex corporate projects and government orders. A wide network of branches allows regional training, including field visits, in all cities of Russia. Every year, the training center works on dozens of large and medium-sized contracts.
In 2013, the AITI Academy won a number of competitions for conducting computer literacy courses for the population in the Kaliningrad, Rostov, Sverdlovsk regions, Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug, Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug, Kamchatka Territory. At the moment, more than 18,000 citizens of preferential categories have been trained. For example, more than 9,000 people studied in municipalities of the Rostov Region alone over the year. The social significance of projects is difficult to overestimate - their key goals are the availability of computer technologies and e-government services to pensioners, the unemployed, employees of budget institutions, etc.
Numerous advanced training programs for state civil servants have become significant for the entire branch network of the Academy, for example, for customers such as the Judicial Department under the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation, the Moscow Regional Duma, the Federal Service for Supervision of Consumer Protection and Human Welfare (Rospotrebnadzor) in the city of Moscow, the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Bashkortostan, the Ministries of Finance of the Orenburg Region, the Administration of the cities of Noyabrsk and Ugorsk of the Tyumen Region and others.
Traditionally, training programs were conducted for entrepreneurs on orders from the Department of Science, Industrial Policy and Entrepreneurship of the city of Moscow, the Ministry of Education of the Sakhalin Region, the Ministry of Economic Development, Industrial Policy and Trade of the Orenburg Region, the Administration of the city of Shumerl of the Chuvash Republic, the Ministry of Economic Development of the StTerritory of the Republic of Tatarstan. Under these projects, more than 2,000 representatives of small and medium-sized businesses studied the basics of entrepreneurial activity and business planning, e-commerce, tax accounting and other advanced training programs.
Among the largest commercial projects in the academic year 2013/2014, the company notes the services sold for OAO, Gazprom OOO, RN-Inform OAO Roszheldorproekt, Moscow Metro State Unitary Enterprise, LLP Caspian Projects Supply Company Ltd, OAO AK Transneft, LLC Vneshprombank and Alfa Bank other corporate customers.
2011-2012: Teaching teachers to use ESM
During the reporting period, the turnover of the Academy amounted to about 380 million rubles. Among the areas of study, the key place is occupied by:
- information and communication technologies (82 per cent),
- information security (8%),
- management and project management (7%),
- education in the field of state and municipal administration (3%).
Compared to the last academic year, distance learning became more popular - 25% this year compared to 20% in the previous year. The most popular form of training among customers remains full-time. Its share in the academic year 2011-2012 was 67% in the service portfolio of the Academy.
As for demand of courses, courses on studying products are in the lead in structure of resident instruction Microsoft Cisco Oracle. Due to the fact that in the 2011/2012 academic year, the Academy IT became a distributor of the company Autodesk in the direction of "authorized training and certification centers," a new position appeared in the service portfolio - now the Academy oversees the entire channel of training and certification in the direction of Autodesk. Certification for the first time became available to Russian specialists.
The most large-scale project of the AITI Academy in the 2011 academic year was EOR11, commissioned by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation. The project consists in "teaching and supporting teachers in the use of electronic educational resources in educational activities, including the use of remote educational technologies." Two phases of the project have been completed. The first stage involved the development of an Internet learning resource and two electronic training courses, as well as the training of more than 25 thousand teachers of the main school. During the second stage of the project, another 18 thousand teachers were trained. In the third phase, which will end in December 2012, at least 22,000 primary and primary school teachers will be trained. The program is such that the first training module was conducted in a remote format, the second module provides full-time training. According to Igor Morozov, in the history of the AITI Academy, full-time training for such a large number of students is held for the first time.
The next project of the Academy is international: "Development of the Customs Service of the Republic of Kazakhstan." The purpose of the project is to establish an integrated training system within the Customs Control Committee (CTC). "AIT Academy" in this case is responsible for the training of training managers and other personnel of the CTC involved in the educational process, as well as for the development and implementation of a remote training system.
In the 2011/2012 academic year, the AIT Academy worked on a number of projects. The largest of them were implemented in the Ural region, where more than ten thousand people were trained. State and municipal employees were trained in ensuring the security of personal data, energy saving technology, etc. For the IT department of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug, training is currently being conducted for public sector employees under the international certification program in the field of computer literacy - ECDL.
As for authorized training, the key customers of the Academy are: Judicial Department under the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation, Federal Customs Service, Special Communications FSO of Russia, Central Bank of the Russian Federation, Rostelecom, etc.
2009-2010: Teaching teachers to use the ACT
In 2009/2010, the turnover of the Academy amounted to 348 million rubles, which is below the level of two years ago. Full-time training accounts for 76%, distance training - 14%, and 5% each for business training and consulting.
The fall in corporate training was mitigated by state orders - in particular, we are talking about the federal project NP-12 "Implementation of a package of free software in general education institutions of the Russian Federation." As part of this project, the AITI Academy personally trained 7.5 thousand teachers and 77,706 remote school workers from 83 constituent entities of the Russian Federation, of which 53,473 successfully passed face-to-face testing. The state allocated 105 million rubles for the project.
Another area, also begun 3 years ago, was the development of electronic educational resources. The first such project, the AIT Academy, was carried out in 2006 for the Federal Education Agency. From the end of 2008 to the present, the Academy has been implementing a project within the framework of the FAO order to develop electronic educational resources in five specialties for primary and secondary vocational education institutions in the field of petrochemistry. To date, 1,200 e-learning materials have been developed. The project will be completed in October this year.
In 2010, from April to November, the Academy conducts the project "Advanced Training of Employees of the Informatization Departments of the Arbitration Courts of the Russian Federation and the Penal Correction System of the Russian Federation" (Project "Support for Judicial Reform"). The project budget is 33 million rubles.
The Academy works in several areas: information and communication technologies, information security, management, distance learning. During 2009, 73 new courses were developed under Information and Communications Technology, while 16 new courses were developed under Information Security. This year, the AIT Academy became the first educational institution to receive SAP authorization in Russia.
