2024: APU drone attack on Ust-Luga plant and gas terminal
On the night of January 20-21, 2024, several UAVs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine attacked the Novatek plant and the gas terminal in the port zone in Ust-Luga, Leningrad Region.

A port complex for transshipment and fractionation of stable gas condensate with a capacity of 6.0 million tons/year is being built in the commercial sea port of Ust-Luga (Kingisepp district, Leningrad region), designed for processing stable gas condensate and exporting finished products (naphtha, aviation fuel, diesel fraction, fuel oil and liquefied petroleum gases).
At the end of 2012, it is planned to commission the first stage (3 million tons per year), in 2013 - the second stage (another 3 million tons per year).
